On the Train Talking Tips
It may seem silly or difficult to talk with your baby in public, but once you get the hang of it, it will feel more natural. Your behavior will model how you’d like other people (even strangers) to talk with your baby, increasing the contact your child has with new words and experiences.

- Let’s swipe our card. Woohoo! You ride for free! We’re going to go underground now to catch the train. We walk down the stairs to get to the train platform. That’s a lot of stairs!”
- “Can you hear the train coming? I hear it too! Now can you see the lights? Here it comes! Let’s get on the train! Wait for the doors to open…okay, now we can get on.”
