As Coronavirus cases are addressed in the world and in the Metro-Atlanta area, SitterTree is aware of the possible interference with child care plans due to school and daycare closures. As we help families navigate childcare arrangements, we do so with the health and safety of each family and sitter is our top priority. Here are a few ways to introduce positive health and well regimens to your family.

Discuss hygiene at an early age

It is never too early to begin discussing health, wellness, and hygiene with your children. By setting common health practices early on, children can have a better understanding of overall disease prevention as they get older.

  • Always wash your hands before eating with soap and water
  • Always wash your hands after using the restroom
  • Cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing

Managing Anxiety During a Global Health Crisis

As cases of coronavirus are confirmed globally and in the U.S., media coverage becomes extensive. Continued high-level media coverage can greatly heighten our awareness as well as our anxiety.

  • Expand on anxiety – read all of care blog
  • Talk about symptoms (care blog)
